Some love stories feel carefully planned, while others sweep you away completely. For Agnessa and Adam, it was the latter – the kind of love you dive into without looking back. Their wedding at Laurent Venue, held on 15 January 2026, brought together family and friends from all corners of the world to celebrate a day that was not only beautiful, but deeply heartfelt.
POLO FIELD & STEPS CEREMONY
The ceremony made beautiful use of Laurent Venue’s polo field, showcasing the sweeping mountain views that make the setting so special. Guests gathered beneath draped structures, while a floral-covered chuppah created a striking focal point against the open landscape.
The long aisle extending from the terrace added a sense of occasion and drew guests into the experience. Layers of flowing fabric, lush greenery, and white blooms softened the vast space, creating a setting that felt both grand and intimate.
For couples considering a wedding at Laurent Venue, this ceremony is a perfect example of how the polo field can be transformed while still allowing the natural beauty of the surroundings to take centre stage.
PRE-DINNER AREA
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on Laurent’s veranda for a relaxed pre-dinner celebration overlooking the Lourensford Wine Estate. Framed by mountain views and shaded by mature trees, the space offered the perfect setting to slow down, connect, and enjoy the afternoon.
The couple embraced the natural character of the veranda, layering it with thoughtful details rather than overwhelming the space. Soft lounge seating and cane-backed chairs encouraged guests to settle in, while flowing linen tablecloths added a sense of ease and movement.
The floral design introduced a richer colour palette, with deep burgundy blooms, textured greenery, and sculptural anthuriums creating moments of contrast against the neutral furnishings. Nearby, dramatic tablescapes draped in rich chocolate fabric added depth and a sense of occasion, while silver candelabras brought a touch of old-world romance.
RECEPTION
For the reception, the space was completely transformed through layers of draping. Flowing ivory fabric cascaded across the ceiling and walls. The result was a warm, candlelit setting that felt both intimate and grand.
The design embraced a refined neutral palette, allowing texture and form to take centre stage. Long banquet tables were dressed in soft linen and lined with elegant oval-backed chairs. White lilies created sculptural floral moments throughout the room. Oversized arrangements of cascading tulips and textured greenery added movement and depth. These organic elements contrasted beautifully against the soft draped backdrop.
As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere shifted from elegant dinner party to vibrant celebration. A customised stage became the focal point of the room. It was designed specifically to showcase the evening’s entertainment. The Black Ties delivered an unforgettable performance. Their energy filled the dance floor from the very first song.
Dramatic lighting enhanced the bespoke stage design and layered draping. Together, these elements balanced sophistication with celebration. The reception became a space for connection, joy, and unforgettable memories.
